Meditation and Meaning
Being the person that you mean to be

Striving Toward a More Conscious and Purposeful Life

Many of us find that days and months go by without thought of how or why we are doing the things that we do. Self-reflection comes in reaction to our distress instead of as a guide to a purposeful life. Our true intentions are overlooked as we try to “manage” the demands on our time. as a result, we find ourselves unsure of our direction and unfulfilled by our choices. Being the person that you mean to be requires deliberate and consistent focus.

"Participating in the Mindfulness and Meaning group was a game changer for me. I came away from the group with a greater depth of awareness. Now, I pay more attention to my inner dialogue, and I have strategies to manage that anxious energy that sometimes lurks around. Kerry is a gifted mindfulness educator and the women in our group were honest, kind and thoughtful. I learned so much! The experience was really an honor."   ~ Laura Milligan

"Through my participation in Kerry's group, I learned relaxation techniques, meditated more than ever, met a great group of inspiring women, and gained powerful new "self talk" as I continually struggle to find the most meaning in my busy life. I was sad for the session to be over and enjoyed every part. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to try this group."
~ Rebecca M.
"I joined the Mindfulness and Meaning group for a change of pace to see where I could improve in my life. It turned out to be an amazing group of women who each contributed something to helped us to take a step back and look at how to simplify our lives yet make the most and extract meaning from our everyday routines. Kerry was a fabulous facilitator who talked of her own experiences but also encouraged us to think about various themes each week and share our own stories. I highly recommend this group for anyone who is looking to improve some aspect of their life."  ~ D.C.

"Did I have time in my busy schedule to take this class? No. And that is precisely the reason why it was important to carve out the time to  and start to learn about meditation. I loved every minute! Kerry is a wonderful facilitator and the people in my group were terrific."
